This is why I live in Colorado. You can see geology in action. Moving from foreground to background you can see a glacial lake, a terminal moraine, the foothills of the Front Range, and then the prairie. Were you able to swivel around 180 degrees, you would see a 1,000 foot piece of granite that soars to a height of over 14,000 feet.
